Minato enters university struggling to fit in, uncomfortable around other people and unable to find a place where he truly belongs. Though confused about playing a heroine in women's clothing despite being male, Minato gradually finds himself drawn to Haru through their rehearsals together. Then, after losing a keepsake left behind by his late mother, Minato becomes involved in an accident. Though he considers stepping down from the lead role, he ultimately chooses his desire to "perform alongside Haru," and the two stand together on the stage for opening night.
