The film looks at the mentality behind extremism, by letting the audience be part of an experiment, in which two psychologists are asked to make personality assessments of two subjects they do not know the identity of. The two subjects undergo therapy sessions as part of the assessment during which they are asked to re-enact the most traumatic and formative events from their childhood. With the aim to try and ensure the deepest look into the minds of these individuals, before the psychologists make the assessments and their identities are revealed.
