Hugo Montes de Oca (born June 20, 2000) is a Mexican film director, screenwriter, producer, editor, cinematographer and actor born in Monterrey, Mexico. He began making shortfilms at age ten, using an old digital camera and directing friends and family. In high school he was already experienced in many editing programs and began taking acting lessons to become a better director and actor. By age 21 he had already directed and co-written four plays and had made more than 40 short films. In 2022 his shortfilm "The Confrontation", was selected to participate in Monterry's International Film Festival.
