Johnny Ford (born Joel Michael Anderson) is an American adult film performer, filmmaker, and digital content creator who rose to prominence within the gay adult entertainment industry during the early 2020s.Before entering front-of-camera adult work, he spent years working extensively behind the scenes in gay nightlife, most notably managing and hosting at the prominent Adonis clubs in both New York City and Los Angeles. He officially transitioned into adult media production through a collaborative living arrangement in early 2020, moving into a shared house with several other adult content creators to film independent studio projects under one roof. Operating primarily during the modern streaming and OnlyFans era, Ford quickly built a recognizable brand as an independent creator and freelance performer. His appealing performance style and natural screen presence allowed him to secure featured roles across several major digital production networks. Between 2021 and 2023, he accumulated a prolific filmography, appearing in popular ensemble features and vignettes for high-profile labels including NextDoorStudios, Men.com, and Falcon Studios. Some of his most widely distributed film credits include Take Him, Not Me (2022), San Diego's Top Top (2022), All in the Fucking Family (2022), and appearances in episodic series like Family Dick. In addition to performing, Ford utilized his industry experience to branch out into independent filmmaking and social commentary. Performing under his legal name, Joel Michael Anderson, he wrote, directed, and starred in the independent short film DOXY (2023). The film, which mirrored an extended vlog, was heavily based on his experiences in the adult industry and was designed to provide a realistic, unglamorous look at the modern digital sex work landscape during the post-pandemic content boom. Industry commentators praised the project for its creative transparency and meta-commentary on digital performance culture. Ford remains active in independent production, leveraging his background in both mainstream media arts and adult entertainment to create independent digital projects.
