Beneath her warm and cheerful demeanor, she is actually a white elf banished from her people and has lived for hundreds of years. Her serenity begins to crumble when Velmor, a cunning, half-mad dark elf who has long haunted her, reappears in search of the Black Diary—an ancient magical artifact that holds the link between Liriell's soul and her people's past.
