Melon (Hitomi Kurosawa), who lies to her hometown girlfriend's parents that she works as an office lady and works as a hotel lady in Tokyo, is proposed to by her regular customer Kageda (Yutaka Ikejima). Melon has arranged a date with Kageda on Christmas, which is also her birthday, and asks her to give him sunflowers, which are out of season.
