S01E01Ruth and Naomi

Two women- Ruth (June Allyson, and Naomi (Ann Harding), who are connected by Tommy (Ruth's husband, and Naomi's son) when Tommy dies, and an empty-feeling Ruth is asked by Naomi to live with her. The 2 women couldn't be more different; Naomi doesn't understand why - even months later, Ruth seems to not even try to move on and live, and asks her why she's only seen very few men, none of which she's asked to come over for dinner. Finally, Ruth agrees to invite David ([Peter Mark Richman). When David comes over, Ruth smiles, but every time Ruth sees Naomi seeing her smile, Ruth feigns a lack of interest. Naomi ...
