The film tells the story of a woman who learns first betrayal and then love through the men who enter her life. Factory owner Nazmi Bey commits suicide because he cannot bear the shame of bankruptcy. His daughter Oya has no idea about the bankruptcy until that moment. She is suddenly left destitute. Before his death, Nazmi Bey makes a will stipulating that Oya marry his nephew Bülent. However, the young man decides not to marry Oya, who is now penniless after her father's death. Oya meets Demir, a car mechanic, when her car breaks down.
