Suddenly, in the historic summer of 1989, his dream becomes reality. The Hungarian-Austrian border is surprisingly opened and the first refugees ask for asylum at the German embassy in Budapest. When Andreas spends his vacation with his parents at a campsite in Hungary, he takes the opportunity and tries to escape to the west at night and in fog.
