Mi Thein Kywe, a simple girl, lives in a small village. She is an orphan and is brought up by a distant aunt for whom she has to sell fish. Later the girl marries a rich ex-monk who dies of a heart-attack after six months. Then she buys a restaurant and falls in love with the musician Ko Thet. This relationship runs aground too.
