故事讲述了企业大亨江胜煌的私生子黄天霖（黄少祺饰），与清文（王灿饰）、正杰是高中死党，但其身世实际是长兴集团董事长江胜煌的私生子，后来天霖认识了独立坚强的张淑婷（陈仙梅饰），两人彼此相爱，但与此同时，清文也爱上了淑婷。一日，天霖的身世被揭穿，原来天霖和清文竟然是同父异母的亲兄弟。此时长兴集团正面临改选经营人，于是昔日的好友在事业与感情之间，引发了一连串紧张激烈的矛盾冲突。
