Reba working in her new Real Estate field decides she needs an assistant. Since Van is not working at the moment she decides that hiring him would not only help her but also the family. Van's unprofessional attitude frustrates Reba leading to Van being fired but Reba comes to term and rehires Van cause she believes she may have been too professional and Van's way of thinking leads her to a sale of a home.
