The King of France and all his descendants disappeared in a plane crash. The only heir found by the council is a 16-year-old bastard, the fruit of the forbidden love between a prince and a French teacher from Melun of Moroccan origin, Samia. Cédric must speak in front of his subjects for the first time during a speech. The Regent is looking for a way to control the young king, while keeping his mother away who risks causing a stain. In doing so, he overlooks a far more pressing threat.

As Samia returns to a Melun that will never be the same for her, Cédric discovers that he is the whipping boy of the Fontaine Show, her favorite show. It's not easy for the Regent to manipulate a king obsessed with these criticisms... Unless he knows how to take advantage of the situation!

Samia is sent to the palace jails after her failed coup. The council is dissolved and the Regent inherits full powers, but all may not be lost. Cédric and Flopi gather the troops to try to free Samia. And, in the jails, we often discover many secrets...
