Joel DeCandio is a New York–based stage and film actor currently working in independent and art house cinema. His forthcoming films include Kenya Gillespie's Give, Dominic Mercurio's He Won't Belong, and Barnabas Wilhelm’s All the Rest Is Noise (Germany). On stage, he has appeared in multiple productions of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Tragedy of Cymbeline, as well as The Tempest, Twelfth Night or What You Will, Tennessee Williams’ The Rose Tattoo, and The Tragedy of Antony & Cleopatra with the National Theatre of Ghana and artists of Ankara Devlet Tiyatrosu (Turkish State Theatre). In addition to his work as an actor, he has held a steady place in the Broadway community as a collaborative pianist and coach. He is a graduate of the William Esper Studio in New York City.
