But when they get to her Dad's small cattle property it's immediately obvious that things are awry - in fact Rick has just entered some kind of surreal nightmare world. Calling Kristy's Dad strange is an understatement, Kristy is acting just as bizarre, there's a creepy small boy next door in a cabaret mask, a dead tree with unsettling aura, and when Rick tries to escape he physically can't. When the weekend reaches its untimely end we then switch perspectives and see things from Kristy's Dad's point of view. Which is incredibly more bizarre.
